Cancer really sucks! We lost my Mom to cancer in 2020, and my Dad is currently battling multiple types of cancer. Throughout both of their journeys neither of them had to worry about getting to their appointments. This is not the case for every family. Pink Revolution works with 45+ cancer centers in New England, including most of the large Boston hospitals like Dana Farber and Children's Hospital. These centers continue to tell us that patients and their families are struggling to afford the cost of just getting to treatment! This is very hard to imagine for most of us, but just for a moment put yourself in the shoes of a parent or loved one who can't afford the gas to get to life saving treatment. Now imagine that on top of that you are struggling to put food on your family's table because of the huge financial burden of cancer treatment.
This is where you come in! Please help me raise $4,000 to buy 160 gas and grocery gift cards by sponsoring my skydiving fundraiser. I, along with a dozen more brave souls, will be skydiving on September 7th at Skydive Pepperell.
I will be wearing an event t-shirt this year and would love to add the names of your loved ones who have been affected by this terrible disease. If you make a donation and would like to add a name to my shirt, just PM or text me and I'll add their name.
